The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 这题材还得后配的粤语版，难道没有粤语版直接在岭南地区上映吗？最后各个队伍一起击鼓的时候，有点奥运会跳高比赛最后运动员一起加油看破纪录的感觉。
带了一点期待去的，前半场观众笑得我有点自我怀疑，特别是旁边女孩子的声音完全入侵了我的观影体验，甚至想到雪崩的时候没有一片雪花是无辜的，所有让我对这部片子抱有期待走进电影院的人都有责任！不过没想到能在电影院听到有几年都没听过的九连真人
三星吧，鼓励分，对冲一下差评。虽说造型乳化的指控纯属扯淡，虽说我看的时候没觉得造型多碍眼，但作为市场期待很高的项目，定造型确实草率了——不管那些质疑是否偏颇，做生意不是要去跟消费者讲道理的。真正的技术问题是前面大半的剧本，不是克制而是该讲的没讲透，有看预告片的感觉。有些可能是删减，比如师父前史。最后那些顶得很成功，岭南小镇风貌很出彩。
情节发展很容易猜到，但就算猜到也一样能把你看哭，怎么做到的，实在太厉害了。
五条人，椅子乐团，九连真人的歌恰到好处的响起。真是太棒了！
前面踏上舞狮的路 那么快的三个人的结合让我觉得理由不充足 但后半段高潮迭起 我一直以为自己不喜欢敲锣打鼓的吵闹 没想到只是因为那些鼓声没有在对的时间出现 鼓声也会很吸引人的好听
虽是个套路励志故事，画面在国漫中简直又上个新高度，该有的动态小效果都有，小蚊虫，风动的树叶之类的，总算得到一下满足，但还不是很满足，可以做的更丰富更细节。歌曲用的也丰富，很为影片加分。7.4
气质上是很像《荒岛余生》的，也有《瓦力》《遗愿清单》元素。小品级故事，人物世界观都很完整，机械道具和特效都一点不含糊。只是作为长片的话有点不够值回票价，还好只是在苹果流媒体上上线的。
一个老人、一只狗和一个最后懂得生命、与人性意义的机器人的简单公路片。虽然有个末日生存作为背景，但整体平淡舒缓、故事娓娓道来，却从头到尾没觉得枯燥无味。就是很暖，一种在寒夜里递给你一杯热咖啡的暖意，还是被狠狠地治愈和温暖到了！结尾一个很人性化的机器人和一只狗继续开展他们新的旅程，仿佛另一部新电影的开头。
终于跳出泛滥的神话IP，以一副体育励志的面孔回归现实，直面城乡的生活，直面大都市的吞噬性。物质现实的复原程度，无论是不是以国产动画的维度来衡量，都算得上非常出色了，就比如核心元素的狮子，那种竹篾、绒布、彩纸舞动起来的质感一度让人忘了自己在观看一部动画电影，而且即便情节、配乐方方面面都给足了情绪，影片也并未陷入春药式励志的陷阱。
制作确实很精良，能看出国产动画美术上确实很卷，但是编剧看起来不怎么卷
7.4 废墟公路片。老汤姆这个年纪选片都是这类讲人生和人性的。这片子最有意思的地方是第四条机器人守则，芬奇不在需要保护狗子其他三个守则都是放屁。所以在疫情严重的地方，而你家里又有宠物的话，为了防止无伤害毁灭你家的小可爱，可以自己造一个机器人。
舞狮——这个被更高阶层的人放弃了的选择之一，对这个底层男孩来说，或许是唯一可以精神胜利一次的机会。
我不理解，世界末日了最后是60多岁的老头子活下来？？又是一个大数据电影，乏味老套抄的很笨拙
废土科幻公路片，人类没了，却试图教机器人做人。氛围设定都不错，但似乎没有真正的嗨点，但作为一部只有4个角色的影片，能让观众看2个小时不感到枯燥，还是非常牛的。
整体挺好莱坞的，有的地方甚至有点刻意套路。但是中国电影能有基本套路的样子也是进步。很优秀，情感有穿透力，今年少有的好电影，值20亿。配曲配乐非常牛逼了，上映要去看！
虽说聚焦弱小如何锻造了强大的精神世界，本就是热血基本款，但能将这种基本款呈现得自然坦诚又动人心弦，确属下了一番功夫。传统文化传承、乡村留守孩子、外出打工潮等命题，能以这样舒适的方式引人回味，实属难得。
值得二刷！按头安利！记得不要迟到，不然前面的水墨动画错过了，超级可惜
国漫终于不是一水的大眼睛大胸大长腿了，普通人也可以做主角了，前面的煽情略尬，一直在套路，最后结尾突然反套路升华，毛不易的歌一出来眼泪就掉下来了，绝配，如果对白是粤语或方言会更自然，但是现在已经很棒了！
