The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 虽然爱情来得莫名其妙，但是那些双方都迷之自信的挑逗和引诱的试探还是很有心动的感觉，格外大胆而与众不同，以至于把剧情都比下去了。富二代们都不想做富二代，只想连上邻居家的wifi，爬上邻居家的床，最后幡然悔悟，事业爱情双丰收。

女生可不就是跟踪狂。剧情玛丽苏又狗血，但男主颜值可以，寸头好迷人。年轻的肉体真好。

小吉的滑铁卢啊…没拍过烂片的生涯就这样被卖拷贝打破了。
看得我是贼困。爆炸贝依旧乱炸。整体烂俗。这样主题的片子搞得如此无聊也是令人尴尬。
卖拷贝终于又回归了一次严肃题材，虽然是改编丹麦同名电影，但是运镜、场面、调度都梦回《变形金刚》。老吉继《罪人》后第二次演翻牌电影，虽然丹尼这个角色本色是很俗套的，但被老吉演的亦正亦邪，精彩无比。总体来说是卖拷贝近些年来不错的商业片，仅次于《危机13小时》和《付出与收获》。

好扯淡，即使是帅哥美女也想看稍微合逻辑一点的恋爱（意思是说能不能把感情变化刻画细致一点）但是冲男女主美好肉体决定多给一颗星
看了半天我居然都没分清差和匪，当匪的一直努力救人，当差的一直各种打枪，就这乱的一匹的剧本有爆炸贝的砰砰砰也没用。

哈哈哈哈经典晋江女追男言情小说，哈哈哈哈剧情一模一样，看了百八十遍的小说脉络主线。 灰姑娘与坏痞但很脆弱受伤且帅气多金王子的青春爱恋，灰姑娘旁边必有的温柔细心默默爱恋的男二男闺蜜，然后因为男主的病情重创，分开释怀聚合。哈哈，虽然很俗套，但就是不会腻的。。。
还是欧洲导演会拍！谁青春期没点中二狗血的霸道浪子爱上我的玛丽苏爱情幻想呢 尊重人性 导演多拍点！白妹还是不够敢想 好想让导演拿着中文小言本子拍！批评逻辑和细节真没必要啊 做梦需要逻辑吗 做梦需要的是爽！
男生挺帅。情节是很老套的玛丽苏。后半段进展和2倍速一样快，一半的剧情只用了1/4的时间，全靠讲述，观感很奇怪。哥哥那条线一直在埋伏笔，但没说。
卢瑟才自怨自艾，赢家都是凯旋归。——迈克尔贝，应该是最会拍追逐戏的导演了
