The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 开始还以为是普通老套的美式青春校园喜剧。拉拉队长在毕业前夕的表演中摔伤，昏迷二十年后苏醒。苏醒后的唯一愿望是重回高中，再当拉拉队长，成为毕业舞会的女皇。今时不同往日，中学已经不再评选舞会女皇，学生里也增加了不同肤色和取向的同学，成为核心的标志也不再是成为拉拉队长，而是看你的网络粉丝有多少。虽然最后还是一个（迟来的）成长，以及与好友和家人的和解的故事，但因为新老观念的冲突以及四十岁大姐的少女心还是搞出不少笑点。

无脑但有趣，男主小时候还挺好看，长大怎么就变成胖大叔。
普通的勵志片，拍得最用心的傳教片，少了點迷信，多了點宗教探討
很平淡，但最后一句扎心了。我想我们都是后知后觉的人，故事结束。

有一处令人匪夷所思的情节不知道是真的还是为了给电影凑字数。总而言之匪夷所思。
