The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 看到一半我还以为有惊悚的走向，这虚晃一枪拍的够有气氛的。
人之将死其言也善。但是托付给克隆的自己，总觉得怪怪的，尤其是这人眼睛里有摄像头，那他岂不是属于科技公司？

太像apple tv能做出来的戏了，我的妈呀。把市侩老梗讲出性冷淡风可能也是现在的流行趋势吧。

克隆在科幻电影中已然不再是什么新鲜题材，但《天鹅挽歌》的不同，则在于电影既没有结论，也不做批判，它只是用细腻的情感表达将一个告别的故事，赋予了最为“无私”的形态。面对即将不久于人世的现实，是让深爱的人同样陷入巨大的悲痛，还是用克隆人替代自己，孤独死去？两难抉择下关于爱的挽歌，感人至深。
如果真的有这样的project，首先会被用在宠物身上，如果家人们都互相隐瞒着做了同样的事，那么渐渐地一家人也就都不再是原来的一家人，但是也许这些都不那么重要，皮行尸的脆弱世界里，唯有爱是一宗永恒的价值认定。
我觉得也没那么牛逼吧，是画面稍微微上乘，还有些讽刺和黑色幽默，但DC粉吹的太高了，看完了反而有些失望。有冲击力的画面也没多少，老鼠都变可爱了，但我想不明白，大boss海星未免太cult了吧？一点都不恶心，看着挺没劲儿的，大场面也没多少，看完就记得小丑女一个人闯出囚禁他的这一段儿，戏剧性的花儿伴随着杀戮绽放，剩下真没啥大场面。
