In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 腔调挺足的，调性一点点邪性，一点点古典，当然布列松啥的我我我还get不了。关键问题是这个故事我看不懂，是反战？反漂亮国？救赎？那这些和算牌和赌博又有啥关系？就男主一张冷脸西装革履的坐在赌桌前去拯救一个乱七八糟的小屁孩，我莫民的觉得这是bl场景~~~救命

仿佛是第一归正会的another version，虽然关键转折和高潮的写法有些自我重复，延续一个男人和他的房间主题所以可以料想转折总归是打开房门，而且这次又没有之前惊艳也是他从来不作的画面强迫症了，好在施拉德写的“一个男人”总归特别对我胃口，人物的塑造、旁白的写法淡淡叙述的赌场内循环人生以及颇有新意的洁癖方式等细节，而且他找男主不能说百发百中吧戳中率七成以上有的吧对我来说，这次轮到奥斯卡，也好好看。女主角La Linda我也挺喜欢的，想起《Light Sleeper》里毒枭姐萨兰登和贩毒哥达福的配对，友谊第一爱情可以培养。ps虐囚事件的场面大概蛮写实的和莫里斯《标准流程》的表达完全一样嘛，推荐和那部纪录片配套观看
与其不带脑子看梦华录，我肯定愿意看这类爆米花Chick flick啊，挺开心的干嘛给人家打那么低分，男主身材很好啊！that's my type!直球方式和说话风格也是我的方式。下午摸鱼还看了会儿原著小说，我不愿意挑这刺儿，我看得挺开心😁

好久没看到这么符合Mr.dreamy的选角了🥰
鱼眼广角镜头中的虐囚噩梦，把PTSD的神迷意夺直直展现在眼前。赌局上逢赢必炫的“USA”似乎隐隐讥讽着反战。

套路爱情片，电梯那段还挺好磕，后面人物动机也没交代清楚
作为一家出版公司联合首席执行官的助理，露西·赫顿（Lucy Hutton）和约书亚·坦普曼（Joshua Templeman）每天对面而坐，虽然他们彼此厌恶着对方。为了取得职业中的成功，二人开始了一场从外到内的较量与竞争，但是偶然的一次电梯事故，使二人的竞争关系发生了微妙的改变。
无聊的爱情口水片，两个主演都挺令人讨厌的，怪不得叫《the hating game》。
除了俊男靓女的搭配还有略精细的场景设计之外。其他没有什么别的看点了。

这么多年来Schrader一直都在讲一个故事 关注一个人物。越老了后风格越加精简 现在他的电影简化到了故事的本质。清冷与克制就像有洁癖，刻板的人物，猛然觉得可能老马丁误解了他的本子，老马丁做加法 Schrader做减法。
男主有点禁欲系的意思，蛮戳我的，谁能抗拒举高高亲亲，轻松的电影，可！
一部最多只可以给到三颗星的爱情轻喜剧。几乎是看完这部影片后的同时，又重新看了一遍约翰库萨克的《缘分天注定》，相比20年前的作品，爱情轻喜剧在这20年里几乎是没有任何新的发展与进步，原地踏步不说，还可能呈现出某种退步。
